Android 3.0 Honeycomb for your Nook Color now free to download

Just days ago, developer deeper-blue announced his initial success porting Android 3.0 Honeycomb to the Nook Color tablet e-reader. Now, he's made it a whole lot easier for anyone with some free time and patience to do the same.The ROM installs to your SD card, and most of the Nook's hardware is now functional -- including Wi-Fi, hardware graphics acceleration, touchscreen input, and control buttons.

Sleep and resume are also working properly, meaning you shouldn't burn through your battery too quickly while you experiment with Android 3.0 on your Nook. Head on over to xda-developers to download the Honeycomb image.
